The Art of Alex Phillips

I printed the original out and realised that the contrast was way off and decided to paint over it. Originally it was painted with Colors! on the DS and looked fine. Then after I printed it, I could see the flaws and decided to just increase the contrast, that developed into painting the rust in more detail, bubbling the paint work and then, adding a tear to the eye as a cause of the rust, but it also added extra story to the painting, as if the robot is making a wish to stop his rust and his surprise at the rainbow appearing from his hand makes him cry a tear of joy. I added some clouds to make him appear even taller too.
